The research was descriptive, with a comparative descriptive design. The available sample consisted 80 students, who were administered the Test of metalinguistic skills (THM) Gomez, Valero, Buades and Perez (1995) adapted by Panca (2000). When processing the results found that most of the students in the sample were at the advanced level. The analysis of the scores showed that in most subs test administered to children no significant differences in the use of phonological awareness.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoHabilidades de conciencia fonológica en estudiantes de primer grado de instituciones educativas públicas de Bellavista(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2012) Aguilar Ávalos, Julián; García Molina, Teresilda Ruth; Prosopio Chávez, Silvia Rosario; Meza Borja, Juan AnibalThis descriptive simple research aimed to determine the development of phonological awareness abilities of 232 grader primary students of 6 public schools in Bellavista. The metalinguistic ability test proposed by Gomez, Valero, Buades and Perez, an adapted to our reality by Panca (2003) was used. The results showed that just 48, 7% of the sample reached an advanced level in the development of phonological awareness activities, while 51,3% were below the intended level. We can conclude that there are significant differences in the achievement of the subtests to isolate, count and combine phonemes, which are part of the phonemic awareness, as well as the most complex level of phonological awareness regarding reading.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoInclusión de educandos con deficiencia intelectual en escuela públicas primarias de Carmen de La Legua y Reynoso - Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Api Castillo, Aldo Alfredo; Muñoz Salazar, José ManuelThere has been an investigation about the inclusive of primary schools from the state, through a design of simple descriptive investigation, we count with a sample of an available type, conformed 6 E I and a total of 19 students with intellectual handicap that involves the total of the population of kinds with intellectual handicap, also the ones from the district of Carmen de la Legua y Reynoso. An observation card has been applied to describe the characteristics of the inclusive process of these students in two stages, the first one corresponds to collect information about the inclusive education in the level of institutional planification; in the second one we observed this inclusiveness up to the level of the classroom indeed. This investigation let us analyze the process of inclusive education of this population, is advanced and in a consolidation process, especially in its socio-educative process, through a E. I. and classroom level.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoInteligencia emocional y logro académico en los alumnos de educación secundaria de una institución educativa pública del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Palacios Cangahuala, Vladimir Valerio; Altez Rodríguez, Irma SusanaThe present investigation has the intention of demonstrating the existing relation between the emotional intelligence and the academic achievement in the pupils of the fifth degree of secondary education of an educational institution of the district of the Callao. Correlacional used the descriptive design. The study was realized in a sample of 82 students of both kinds; with a sampling not probability. The was applied the inventory of BarOnʼs Emotional Quotient. The results indicate that a significant relation exists between emotional intelligence and academic achievement; likewise the levels of Emotional Intelligence indicate that 69.5% presents an emotional good capacity and 24.4% for improving. In addition, in relation to academic achievement one found that 37.8% presents a low level.

One hundred forty-nine fourth-grade public high-school students from Callao participated in the sample. Their ages varied from fourteen to nineteen years old. The questionnaire about Academic goals from Núñez, Gonzáles-Pienda, Gonzáles-Pumariega, García and Roces (1977), adapted by Solís (2010), and the Motivational components in the area of English by Alarcón (2005), adapted by Solís (2010), were used during this evaluation. The result of the research revealed a low and negative correlation between both variables. Moreover, the psychometric data from the adaption of both questionaires displayed valid and reliable tests.

We evaluated a sample of 100 children whose average age was five. Test was applied for classification and seriation contained in the test battery FORCAB Operative, Training Cognitive-Affective Basic Structures. Reategui, Whose, Espinoza and Gutierrez (1977). The results showed differences between students from state school versus private only in the placement test, but not in the serialization for students of the private institution.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPercepción del liderazgo del director y desempeño laboral de las docentes en cuatro instituciones educativas públicas del nivel inicial en el Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2012) Rodríguez Zamora, María Carmela; Bustamante Guerrero, Gilberto IndalecioThe current job of correlation descriptive type had the goal to relate the teachers´ perception between management leadership and job performance of teachers in four public educational institutions from initial level schools in Callao. The type available non-probabilistic sample was integrated for 50 teachers. A survey was developed to determine the management leadership level and a remark record to determine the teacher work performance level. These instruments were evaluated obtaining an acceptable validity and reliability (by expert opinion and 98 ** 97 **) and a Cronbach's alpha of 0.97 ** and 848 **). It is important to mention the correlation among directive leadership and work and participation motivation dimension. However, there is not a significant correlation between the directive leadership and the responsibility dimension. The final conclusion was than a good directive leadership entail a good teacher performance and improve the education quality.

The study involved 74 teachers: 12 of primary level and 62 of secondary level of both genders, for morning and afternoon shifts, the age of participating teachers were between 23 and 50 years. To measure the practice of teaching values of the questionnaire was used practice of the values proposed by Cordova (2007) carried out on the same tests of validity and reliability for research purposes. Given the research design, the results allowed us to describe that teachers practice the values of honesty, respect, responsibility, solidarity and punctuality in a range from fair to excellent.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPraxis democrática de los docentes en las instituciones educativas públicas de educación básica regular de Márquez - Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Morillo Flores, John Janel; Flores Valdiviezo, Hernán GerardoThe present research tries to describe, to analyze and to establish the level of democratic practice of the teachers in the Educational public Institutions of basic regular education of Márquez – Callao; it means, how the educators compromise themselves with the democracy in the educational institution where they work, considering that they are the principal forming agent and model of life for his pupils. The instrument was designed by the author, measured the democratic practice of a population of 54 teachers: their conscious and reflexive exercise of the values of the democracy (incorporation, participation, freedom, tolerance, equality, criticidad, responsibility and justice) described and defined in the theoretical frame. The instrument was applied to 22 teachers (40, 7 % of the population) and 188 pupils, (9, 4 % of the population) these think about the democratic practice of the first ones. After processing the information and have done credit the triangulation it is concluded that the level of democratic practice of the teachers is favorable.

The sample consisted of 60 students, 30 students in each school of a socioeconomic low level to which there was applied the Battery of Evaluation of the Reading Processes (PROLEC) elaborated for Cuetos , Rodríguez and Ruano (2000). Adapted by Guevara (2009). We used the Mann-Whitney U statistic and found significant differences in the tasks of letter name and sound, grammatical structure, sentence comprehension and reading comprehension, for students of the private school versus public institution, although both groups are below the required standards as good readers.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoProcesos lectores en estudiantes de dos turnos del 2° grado de primaria de una institución educativa estatal - Pachacútec(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2011) Guevara Álvarez, Milady; Muñoz Salazar, José ManuelThe present investigation has as aim compare the different psychological processes of the reading between the students of two shifts of the second degree of primary education of Pachacútec's educational state institution. There were selected a sample of 33 children and girls of the shift tomorrow and 27 children and girls of the shift late of a socioeconomic low level to which there was applied the Battery of Evaluation of the Reading Processes (PROLEC) elaborated for F. Cuetos , B. Rodríguez and E. Ruano (2000). A profile of performance was elaborated in each of the processes of the reading. To find the differences of the performance of the pupils of the shift tomorrow opposite to those of the shift late there was in use the statistician Or of Mann Whitney. One found a better performance in all the processes of the reading in the pupils of the shift tomorrow opposite to those of the shift late. When the comparison was realized bearing in mind each of the sub test one found differences in favour of the shift tomorrow except in the reading of words and the grammatical structures. One recommends to strengthen the deficit areas specially in the pupils of the shift late.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoProcesos lectores en estudiantes del 3° de secundaria de una institución educativa estatal de Pachacútec - Ventanilla(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2011) Contreras Tito, Jorge Richard; Meza Borja, Juan AnibalSe estudió los procesos lectores en estudiantes del tercer grado de educación secundaria, de una institución pública de Pachacútec-Ventanilla. La muestra estuvo conformada por 56 estudiantes entre 14, a 18 años de edad: 26 varones y 30 mujeres. Todos pertenecientes a un nivel socio económico bajo. Se utilizó como instrumento de medición para recolectar datos la batería PROLEC –SE (Procesos Lectores) elaborado por Ramos, & Cuetos (2001). La variable estudiada fue el proceso lector en sus dimensiones: léxica, sintáctica y semántica, que constituyen todos los procesos cognitivos que intervienen en la lectura. La investigación demuestra que existe un nivel medio del proceso léxico y sintáctico en la lectura en los estudiantes de 3º grado de secundaria. Asimismo se demuestra que la gran mayoría de los alumnos sobresalen en los procesos semánticos.

Were designed structured surveys to evaluate the variables and indicators, which were subject to expert opinion obtained approval being perfect in the calculation of the V Aikeen. When processing the results it was concluded exists relations moderate between the perception of education project and achieving organizational of results in the sample.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoResiliencia en las docentes de educación inicial de instituciones públicas del Callao y Ventanilla(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2012) Mundaca Tello, Carmen Cruz; Bustamante Guerrero, Gilberto IndalecioThis comparative descriptive research design, aimed to compare the resilience among teachers of the districts of Callao and Ventanilla. The sample consisted of 212 pre-school teachers and this research applied the scale of Teacher Resilience (ER-D) from Guerra (2010). The ER-D has 69 items and distributed in four factors: meaningful participation, prosocial behavior, self- esteem and learning and support perception. The research concluded that there are significant differences in resilience between teachers of Callao and Ventanilla.
