- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoConducta social percibida por los docentes e inteligencia emocional en alumnos del sexto grado Red N° 10 Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2012) Martínez Hernández, Isolina Rosario; Álvarez Taco, Carmen LeniThe research analyzes the association between perceived social behavior by 23 teachers and emotional intelligence of sixth graders Network 10 Callao in a sample of 240 students of 10, 11 and 12. We applied two instruments: the social behavior scale Meneses, adapted by Zamudio (2009) and the Inventory of emotional intelligence, Baron ICE: NA Ugarriza and adapted by Pajares (2005). Research applied descriptive correlational design. The results showed the existence of association between the two variables, students were observed inappropriate behavior, which would be associated with the low level of development of emotional intelligence. The dimensions friendship and group participation, shyness, negativity and selfishness and rivalry and litigation social behavior observed significant association regarding emotional intelligence.

To this effect was applied to a sample of 60 subjects chosen intentionally, Emotional Intelligence Inventory - EQ-I BarOn an adequate standardized and adapted to Peru for Ugarriza (2001).It is reported that the vast majority of teachers has adequate level of emotional l (96.7%) and only 3.3% have a better level, low. As for the intrapersonal component is observed that 86.7% of teachers are at the right level, followed by 10% which is in the level “ to improve” and only 3.3% were found at the “highly developed” is say, the majority of teachers have developed the emotional understanding of himself. Most teachers (91.7)are at the appropriate level for the mood component, the 8.3% level is “ to improve”. Most teachers have skills to be satisfied with life.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoNiveles de inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de quinto año de secundaria de colegios mixtos y diferenciados del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Rosas Tavares, Norma Lidia; Meza Borja, Juan AnibalThe present study had as intention verify if differences exist in the levels of Emotional Intelligence between students of mixed and differentiated colleges (only for males or only for ladies). The participants were 160 pupils of colleges mixed and differentiated from 3 districts of the Callao, both state and parochial constituting a sample probabilistic for a descriptive comparative study. The applied instrument was the Inventory of Baron's Emotional Intelligence for children and teenagers adapted by Nelly Ugarriza in 2004. The obtained results showed that yes significant differences exist in the levels of development of Emotional Intelligence between these two groups of students, being the highest levels in the students of mixed colleges. This verifies the hypothesis raised for this investigation that it was postulating that the system of education compound or coeducation, it contributes certain conditions and possibilities that favor a major emotional development of the pupils who take part of him.

The participants were all the teachers of a public school of La Perla, constituting a sample not probabilistic available for a descriptive study - correlation. The Inventory of Baron's Emotional Intelligence adapted by Nelly Ugarriza in 2001 and the Scale of Climate Organizational of Sonia Palma were applied. The obtained results showed that yes, there is a positive correlation between both variables, pointing out that to Emotional Intelligence major level corresponds a better organizational climate.
