- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoLenguaje oral en estudiantes de 3 años de instituciones educativas de la Red N° 4, del distrito Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Quezada-Castro, María Isabel del Milagro; Velarde Consoli, Esther MarizaThis descriptive study was aimed to know the levels of oral language in 3 years old children of Educational Institutions from Network No. 4 in Callao district. The probability sample was found consisting of 93 children of low socioeconomic level, which was randomly selected: 40 girls and 53 boys. The instrument applied was Navarra Oral Language Test Revised in 2004, of Aguinaga, Armentia, Fraile, Olangua and Uriz. The results showed that boys and girls in a 75.3% achieved a normal level, 16.1% need improvement and only 8.6% were located in a delay level, the biggest difficulties were in the direction of use (pragmatic) and the least in form (phonology and morphosyntax) and content (semantics).It is suggested planning oral language education programs in the deficit areas.

The sample consisted of 40 sixth grade elementary students from a public school in Ventanilla District. The test of reading comprehension ACL 6º (Catalá et. al. 2001) adapted (Ortega and Ramirez, 2009) was applied. The results showed that 52.6 % of the girls and 66.7% of the boys reached a low level while 42.1 % of the girls and 23.8 % of the boys reached the average level. The high level was only reached by 5.3 % of the girls and 9.5 % of the boys. The data show the low academic performance in reading comprehension in the evaluated students. It also shows there were not are significant relationship in levels of reading comprehension regarding gender.

This job forms a research of descriptive - comparative character and the studying group was formed by 182 students of Public Schools as Bandera de la Paz and Teniente Coronel Perez Salmon and Private Schools as Regina Pacis and B. Group. A comprehensive test of written texts of UMC was taken, Standardized Instrument by the Ministry of Education that makes possible to measure in an objective form, the level of management of reading of second grade students. In conclusion, It doesn´t exist any significant differences of reading comprehension between Public and Private Schools; although they found significant differences in the literal level between boys and girls.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoConciencia fonológica y comprensión lectora en estudiantes de segundo grado de primaria de Carmen de La Legua - Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Cieza Manzanares de Ortiz, Mercedes Teresa; Meza Borja, Juan AnibalI investigated the correlation between phonological awareness and reading comprehension in students of second grade Educational Institution of Carmen de la Lengua - Callao. It also describes the performance in phonological awareness and reading comprehension of students in the sample, the same that was with 40 students, 25 boys and 15 girls aged 7-10 years of age, who were administered the test Reading Comprehension of Language Complexity Progressive Alliende, Condemarín and Milicic and Linguistic Segmentation Test Jimenez Gonzales and Ortiz. We used descriptive statistics to analyze the results of both tests, and inferential statistics to find the relationship between them. We obtained a Spearman rho coefficient of 0.782, so it was determined that the relationship between reading comprehension and phonological awareness is statistically significant at a significance level of 0.00. This also makes a detailed analysis of the dimensions of the tests applied.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoEfectos de un programa de comprensión lectora en estudiantes de cuarto de primaria de una institución educativa del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Salinas Mariñas, JacquelineThe purpose of the research was to demonstrate the effectiveness of a stimulation program for reading comprehension proposed by Velarde, it was applied to a sample of 48 students composed of children from 9 - 11 years old of fourth grade of primary education in a educational institution of Callao, which evaluation was conducted in two phases: pre-test and post-test, with the instrument PROLEC by Cueto, Rodriguez y Ruano. It was noted that syntactic processing favors the acquisition of semantic process, being grammatical structures in compared to the punctuation marks, which contributed significantly to the understanding of sentences and texts. In data processing, we use the statistic T of Student test in which we could observed in the experimental group a mean of 39.6 +7.6 in the pre-test in the Reading Comprehension and in the post-test an average of 43.8 +5.7, demonstrating an increase in the statistically significant mean of 0.000, showing that the stimulation program is effective and improve the reading comprehension.

I apply to him a test of Motivation of academic achievement (MLA) in pupils of secondary. The sample belonged 93 pupils of third party, fourth and fifthly of secondary in the mixed I.E. Fe y Alegría 43 of Ventanilla Callao with ages between 14 and 18 years. There was obtained an index of correlation of 0.39 by means of Sperman's test. One found relation moderated between the motivation of achievement and the academic performance, also that the women have a motivation of achievement bigger than the males.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoInteligencia emocional y satisfacción laboral en docentes de educación inicial de la Red N° 4 de Ventanilla - Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Coca Guadalupe, Karina Tania; Díaz Ubillus, ElisaThis study attempted to determine the relationship between Emotional Quotient and the level of job satisfaction in early education teachers in the network window No. 4 of the Callao Region. Type a descriptive correlation design and the sample consisted of 28 teachers who were administered the Job Satisfaction Scale (SL - SPC) and the Inventory of Emotional Intelligence ICE - BarOn; standardized by Nelly Ugarriza in Peru. The result of study shows that there is a low positive correlation 0.255 between the two variables, however in the analysis of the sub domains of emotional intelligence was found that both empathy and reality testing are significantly related to level job satisfaction.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoLenguaje oral en niños de 3, 4 y 5 años de una institución educativa pública : distrito - Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Asian Suárez, Pilar Cristina; Meza Borja, Juan AnibalThe purpose of this research was to determine the level of oral language proficiency (OL) in the phonological, syntactic and pragmatic areas. The students were evaluated using the revised version of the Navarra oral language test (Aguinaga, Armentia, Fraile, Olangua y Uriz, 2006). The sample was 208 3-5 year old children coming from a low socioeconomic class family and studying at a public school in Callao. The research results show that the children involved in the study have a low level of oral language (OL) and that there are no significant differences in this level between genders. It is suggested that a study be carried out to clearly identify the factors influencing the low level of oral language proficiency in these children.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoActitud hacia la lectura en padres de estudiantes de cuarto de primaria de una institución educativa del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Lulaico Reyes, Maribel Agripina; Meza Borja, Juan AnibalEsta investigación tiene el propósito de describir las actitudes hacia la lectura por parte de los padres de familia de los niños de cuarto de primaria. La muestra estuvo conformada por 64 padres de una institución Educativa Parroquial. Se utilizó la escala de Actitudes hacia la lectura de Cueto, que fue adaptada para adultos, validada y con un nivel de confiabilidad de 0.909. Los resultados mostraron a la dimensiones, cognitiva con un nivel favorable de 42.19%, afectiva con un nivel Medianamente favorable con un 51.56% y conductual con un 62.50% en el nivel Medianamente favorable, concluyéndose que las actitudes de los padres estuvieron mayoritariamente en el nivel Medianamente favorable.

The descriptive research is simple. Participants were 94 girls and 95 boys randomly selected. We administered the Oral Language Test of Navarra - Revised and adapted to our reality for purposes of the investigation. The results showed that 63.0% of students achieved the normal level, while 13.2% achieved a delay level and 23.8% of the students were in intermediate level and. In the results, there were not significant differences between the level of language and gender ofstudents. In conclusion, the majority of students are placed at the normal level of oral language.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAutoestima y rendimiento académico en el área personal social en alumnos de quinto ciclo de primaria de una institución educativa del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Calla Colana, Zublema Liliana; Álvarez Taco, Carmen LeniEl propósito del presente estudio fue establecer la relación entre la autoestima y el rendimiento académico en el área personal social en estudiantes del quinto ciclo de educación primaria de una institución educativa del Callao. Se utilizó un diseño descriptivo correlacional y se contó con una muestra de 100 estudiantes entre varones y mujeres pertenecientes a la Institución Educativa “José María Arguedas”. Para medir la autoestima se utilizó la escala de A.H. Eagly, obteniéndose la validez y confiabilidad estadística para el contexto de estudio, y para medir el rendimiento académico en el área personal social se utilizaron las actas de promedios anuales de calificativos 2009 .Los hallazgos demostraron que existe correlación significativa entre la autoestima y el rendimiento académico.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPrograma Jugando con los sonidos y niveles de la conciencia fonológica en niños de cinco años de una institución educativa(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Caman Nazario, Luz Marina; Velarde Consoli, Esther MarizaThe following investigation has the purpose to evaluate the effects of the application of the program “Playing with sounds” in the level of phonologic conscience in a group of Kindergarten children of 5 years old. We utilized a pre experimental design with a non probabilistic sample of 24 students formed by 15 girls and 9 boys of low economic condition from Callao district. Used the metalinguistic skill test: THM to evaluate the results that we obtained. It was adapted to our context by Noemí Panca before and after applying the program that lasted three months. The results show us a significant performance (after the application of the program) that is bigger than others in all the levels of phonologic conscience. The level rhyme got the higher significant performance while phoneme level got the lower one. We conclude that “Playing with sounds” program has positive effects upon the phonologic conscience of kindergarten children.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoActitudes acerca de la educación inclusiva en profesores de primaria de una institución educativa del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Ruiz De Garavito, Rosa Irene; Robles Mori, HerbertLa presente investigación tiene como propósito establecer las actitudes que presentan los profesores de Educación Básica Regular acerca de la educación inclusiva. El estudio de la investigación es enmarcado dentro del paradigma cualitativo, desarrollándose bajo una metodología descriptiva simple, con un diseño no experimental. La población esta conformada por los profesores del nivel primario de una Institución Educativa del Callao. La muestra para fines operativos es de 20 profesores de ambos sexos. Para la recolección de los datos se diseña un cuestionario conformado por 60 preguntas, con Escala de Lickert propuesta por Damm (2005) y adaptada a nuestra realidad peruana. La confiabilidad de los instrumentos obtiene un coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach de 0,880. El análisis de datos se realiza mediante cálculos de medias y desviaciones estándar. Los resultados obtenidos revelan que los profesores poseen un nivel alto favorable, en cuanto a la actitud cognitiva, es decir que presentan una aceptación favorable frente a la educación inclusiva.

The sample consisted of 133 elementary first grader students from a school located in Callao. The phonological awareness was measured by the Phonological Awareness Test whose authors are José Luis Sánchez Ramos and Isabel Cuadrado Gordillo, meanwhile the reading decoding was specifically measured by Screening Test for Dyslexia whose authors are Mabel Condemarín and Blomquist. By processing the data it was found that most students of evaluated sample showed a middle reading decoding level and had middle level in phonological awareness. While performing the correlation analysis it was found a significant relationship between phonological awareness and reading decoding. As for the correlation between the dimensions of phonological awareness (syllable level and the phonemic level) and reading decoding also it was found a significant relationship.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoComprensión lectora y rendimiento académico en estudiantes de 5° y 6° grado de primaria del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Gómez Torres, Rebeca Margarita; Meza Borja, Juan AnibalWe aimed to establish the relationship between levels of reading comprehension and academic performance in the course of Integral Communication (Comunicacion Integral). The sample consisted of 156 participants (81 males and 75 females) from 10 to 11 years old from the 5th and 6th grade, group chosen for convenience, of a Catholic School in Callao. To determine levels of reading comprehension, we used the ACL test, which validity and reliability is (0876) according to the alpha Combrach. The academic performance was obtained from the final average of the course of Integral Communication. The Spearman correlation index is 0.01, a positive correlation between the two variables. However, when analyzing the specific points in the 6th grade test, significant differences were found between the final average and inferential level, p = 0.809> 0.05. & with the level of reorganization and final average, p = 0.223> 0.05. A better understanding of the text will improve academic performance.

The sample was taken from 147 female students. The variety school violence was evaluated with the hounding and school violence test of Oñate and Piñuel, whose validity was tested through the expert judgment with a confident level of 0.93. The results were analized with the statics SPS getting a 40% of students that consider that there is a high level of school violence and another 40% that there is a low level . Analyzing the four dimentions of the variety by hostility, intimidation, social exclusion and agressions. It was observed that the highest score was for intimidation.Conclusion there is school violence in a significant level. Such results suggest us that school can reduce those types of violence with an efficient control.

The research design used is a descriptive correlational. The population consists of 217 male students. The instrument used was the Questionnaire of Honey-Alonso of learning styles (CHAEA) and the academic performance of students used the consolidated registers of evaluation of the English area 2009. For the statistical analysis was used the SPSS 15.0, the results indicated a statistically significant association between the theoretical and pragmatic style to the final annual English average.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoPrograma OPREC y la capacidad de experimentación en alumnos de segundo de secundaria de una institución educativa del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Ocrospoma Núñez, Miriam Daría; Álvarez Taco, Carmen LeniThis research is to establish the impact of the program OPREC in improving the ability to experiment with students of secondary level, in size of observation, asking questions, formulating hypotheses, experiments and formulate pose and draw conclusions. It is an experimental research, quasi-experimental design with two samples chosen intentionally to 35 students formed the control group and 36 students for the experimental group to which the program was applied OPREC, from September to December of 2009 in the Educational Institution May 2, Callao. For data collection OPREC test was applied. This instrument has undergone validation by experts and have a proper confidence level 0.709. The results were analyzed with the U test of Mann-Whitney and the value U = 219,000 and p =. 0000 indicating that there are significant differences between the control group and the experimental group after applying OPREC program. Wilcoxon test also yields the value Z = 5256 and p =. 000 so we conclude that there are significant differences in the experimental group before and after the implementation of Agenda OPREC.

The sample was made up by 200 students from an educational institution in the Callao region. The survey instrument was questionnaire Honey-Alonso learning styles (2007). Findings allowed concluding that there are significant differences in the active level according to gender, being the score average, higher in the female to male. On the styles thoughtful, theoretical and pragmatic; no significant differences were found.
- PublicaciónAcceso abiertoAnalfabetismo funcional según tipo de texto en estudiantes de educación de un ISPP del Callao(Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, 2010) Dávila Payihuanca, Fanny Jéssica; Velarde Consoli, Esther MarizaEsta investigación busca determinar la presencia de analfabetismo funcional en una muestra de 31 estudiantes de V, VII y IX ciclos de la especialidad de educación primaria de un pedagógico del Callao en diferentes textos (informativo, documentario y numérico). El diseño utilizado fue el descriptivo comparativo. El instrumento aplicado fue la prueba de Comprensión Lectora elaborada por González (1998) en la que se utiliza la técnica Cloze para medir analfabetismo funcional. Ninguno de los tres textos utilizados alcanzó un nivel aceptable de comprensión por lo cual se evidencia la presencia de analfabetismo funcional en los estudiantes evaluados, presentándose una mayor incidencia del mismo en los textos de tipo informativo seguido del texto numérico y documentario.
